Our submission to the UNFCCC aims to help establish the two-year work programme on climate finance.
At COP30 held in Belém in November 2025, Parties to the Paris Agreement agreed to establish a two-year work programme on climate finance.
To initiate this programme, the co-Chairs invited Parties and non-Party stakeholders to respond to three questions:
- What are your overall expectations for the climate finance work programme? What concrete outputs and outcomes should the climate finance work programme deliver?
- What are the thematic pillars of the climate finance work programme and the related subtopics that we should address within each pillar?
- How should the climate finance work programme be organised to ensure that the format is inclusive, balanced, and technically robust, while addressing climate finance comprehensively and delivering outcomes that are actionable and meaningful?
