We worked closely with five other investor network partners and the investor Advisory Group to establish this critical net zero alliance.
The initiative is made up of an international group of asset managers committed to supporting the goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner, in line with global efforts to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius; and to supporting investing aligned with net zero emissions by 2050 or sooner.
Today, we continue to play a leading role in facilitating and managing the initiative, providing access for our members to join and supporting member signatories with delivering upon their commitments.
We also developed the Net Zero Investment Framework, that launched in March 2021 and has been used by the majority of NZAM signatories when setting their initial targets in line with the initiative's commitment statement.
