About IIGCC events

Our events play a crucial role in engaging with investors and wider climate finance stakeholders.

They provide opportunities to connect directly with our members, understand their priorities, gather feedback, and showcase our work across the organisation. We use them to deliver tailored technical guidance and offer practical implementation support.

Our offering includes a collection of flagship events: IIGCC Engage, the IIGCC Summit, and our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which feature in-person and hybrid formats. These are complemented by a year-round programme of online webinars and member implementation surgeries.

We also run a European roadshow in the autumn, where we hold events in different continental cities to engage with existing and prospective members based in Europe.

Our flagship events

IIGCC Engage

IIGCC Engage provides members with the opportunity to explore IIGCC’s work on investor engagement and stewardship across our strategic priorities, both through our collaborative engagement initiatives and the broader Engage Series - a suite of resources designed to support effective investor stewardship and meaningful engagement across key themes and sectors.

The event brings members together for a day of practical learning, featuring interactive workshops that enable participants to share experiences, build knowledge and explore best practice.

IIGCC Summit

The IIGCC Summit is the largest gathering in our annual calendar, bringing together more than 500 attendees in person and online in 2026. Taking place during London Climate Action Week (LCAW), the Summit serves as a key moment to kick off this important week in the stakeholder calendar, offering a dynamic programme of exclusive member workshops, expert insights, and thought-provoking plenary discussions.

The Summit also offers a platform for the launch of new initiatives, products and research, as well as celebrating key developments and achievements across the IIGCC network.

Annual General Meeting

IIGCC’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for the board and our members to come together to reflect on the year, identify future priorities and vote on key governance and institutional matters.

At IIGCC, the AGM extends beyond the formal business of the meeting. Historically, it has featured an afternoon plenary programme featuring panel discussions, fireside chats, and keynote addresses.

European Roadshow and member events

IIGCC’s European roadshow was launched in 2023 as a forum for our members in continental Europe, providing opportunities for our network to engage directly with our work through a series of in-person events held across Europe, including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

The event is a showcase of IIGCC’s three core programmes, with a mix of panel discussions, masterclasses, case study presentations, and networking breaks.

Online events

Webinars: Our webinars provide members with regular touch points to stay up to date with the latest developments across our work. You can expect expert insights and progress from across IIGCC's workstreams. Members can join individual webinars on specific themes or take part in multi-part series that provide a more in-depth look at complex challenges and evolving issues.

Member implementation surgeries': Also known also as 'Surgeries', these offer our members an informal environment to discuss challenges and showcase best practice. Enhancing peer-to-peer learning, each session focuses on a specific issue that investors are tackling in the transition, featuring investor presentations, overviews of upcoming IIGCC guidance and extensive discussion.
