Our mission is to bring the investor community together in making significant progress towards a net zero and climate resilient future by 2030. We do that by working with our members to develop guidance, tools, frameworks and support mechanisms to facilitate investors in managing climate risk within their portfolios and making the most of opportunities presented by the transition of the global economy.
Our network has grown significantly in the last few years as the focus on climate change has intensified within the investment community, and we now have more than 400 members across 27 countries, representing more than €65 trillion in assets.
IIGCC's membership is primarily focused on institutional investors - mostly asset managers and pension funds - but we do also offer associate membership to financial service providers such as investment consultants and ratings agencies.
Investor membership is open to asset owners and asset managers, subject to IIGCC Board approval.
Associate membership is open to investment consultants, law firms, investment banks, rating agencies, and other service providers to the investment community, subject to IIGCC Board approval. We encourage you to reach out if you are not classified as one of the above but feel that membership could still be appropriate for you.
