Event Description
IIGCC is partnering with Climate Action for the Sustainable Investment Forum.
The forum returns for its 11th annual edition during UN General Assembly and Climate Week NYC, bringing together senior decision-makers from across investment, finance, policy and business to examine how sustainable finance can move from commitments to capital allocation.
Convened by Climate Action and hosted by Fordham University, in collaboration with UNEP FI, the Forum will bring together 250 global senior decision-makers, including asset owners representing more than $3 trillion in assets under management, alongside asset managers, financial institutions and policymakers.
The Forum is designed as a working environment for the technical and strategic decisions shaping sustainable investment — from investment mandates and stewardship practices to risk pricing and capital allocation frameworks.
The 2026 programme will explore how investors can identify credible transition strategies, manage climate and nature-related risks and direct capital towards investable solutions capable of delivering long-term value.
The Forum will Focus on:
-
Credible transition finance and decarbonisation pathways
-
Long-term portfolio resilience and climate-risk management
-
Sustainability considerations within fiduciary responsibilities
-
Stewardship and active ownership
-
Investment in climate solutions, adaptation, resilience and natural capital
-
Collaboration across public and private markets
-
Measurable environmental, social and economic outcomes
