The Global Ethical Finance Initiative (GEFI)’s 10th edition of Ethical Finance Global will take place in Edinburgh on Wednesday 17 September 2025.
As the world grapples with intensifying crises, from economic uncertainty and geopolitical instability to the accelerating climate emergency, financial institutions face a pivotal moment.
Will these mounting challenges conspire to force a retreat, causing institutions to step back from sustainability commitments and rethink their purpose? This milestone edition will take place as part of the inaugural Edinburgh Finance Festival - a broader programme of events bringing together global leaders to reflect on progress, share ideas, and consider the future direction of finance.
