The Role
We are looking for a senior sustainability professional to lead the Investor Strategies Programme, one of IIGCC’s three core programmes. You will be a member of the senior management team and one of only four Directors.
Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with the Policy and Corporate Programme Directors, you will be responsible for leading the investor strategies team, ensuring close collaboration with the other programmes. You will develop and manage the programme of work to support investors to manage climate risks and opportunities within investment strategies and make progress towards climate goals, consistent with their fiduciary duties.
You will continue to develop and implement the strategy for the programme in line with the organisation’s objectives, which include continuing to expand our work on net zero, building out work on physical risk and integrating consideration of emerging markets and developing countries as well as nature across our programmes.
As a senior figure and programme lead, you will have regular engagement with investors, as well as partner organisations and other stakeholders, including other financial service providers, policymakers, businesses, and civil society. You will represent IIGCC at major industry events and conferences, including on panels and roundtables.
