2023 has been heralded as the year of climate transition plans, implementation and tackling biodiversity and nature loss. What has been achieved and where does ambition and action need to be focused next year? Join us as we take stock of progress made this year and look ahead to key priorities for 2024 and the years ahead.

With sessions ranging from high profile keynote addresses to interactive and engaging panel discussions focused on some of the most pressing issues in the climate space, it promises to be an event not to be missed.

Amidst a backdrop of soaring global temperatures and geopolitical challenges, we will look at the progress made by investors, companies and governments towards their climate ambitions. Issues with the supply and demand of energy and cost of living crises in many countries have threatened to propagate a short term focus which can be distracting from the urgent action needed to meet international climate goals.

The event will focus on key themes including implementation progress on net zero commitments, using the power of corporate engagement to reverse nature and biodiversity loss alongside wider stewardship with corporate greenhouse gas emitters, developments in transition plan guidance, how policy frameworks are evolving to support the transition towards a net zero economy and the critical challenge of removing barriers and increasing finance flows to emerging markets and developing economies.

The RSVP deadline has now passed. If you didn't register in time but still wish to attend, please email events@iigcc.org
