Economist Impact 9th Annual Sustainability Week

Economist Impact 9th Annual Sustainability Week

Date and time

4 - 6 March 2024

Event Details

Economist Impact’s 9th annual Sustainability Week will explore business approaches to reach net zero and how profit can flourish alongside sustainability goals.

With more than 200 speakers, 1,200 in-person attendees and thousands more joining online, the 9th annual Sustainability Week presents original insights and practical solutions for implementing your sustainability goals. The event examines how this is done and how it can be done faster by companies globally. Meet the most influential speakers in government, business, finance and civil society.

This year also incorporates the Energy Transition summit (ETS),  delivering vital information that can be used to move faster on reducing emissions and improving environmental impact in 2024. The ETS runs on Monday 4 March and will feature how-to workshops, the CSO Leaders’ Club and Action Hour sessions, alongside extensive networking opportunities and an exhibition.

It will look at the energy transition through a technology lens:

"With a bit of luck and a lot of funding, renewables and big-bet technologies like fusion, energy storage and carbon capture could bring the world back on track with decarbonisation. We need to mobilise the next big moonshots, now."

The Energy Transition Summit provides a unique opportunity for investors, end users and energy companies to explore economic opportunities, understand policy support, meet investor demand for sustainability, stay informed about technological advancements, and respond to market signals.

Join us and accelerate a path towards scaling clean energy technologies for a greener, digital grid.
