Sustainable Real Estate Investment Framework
Implementing the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement – An action framework is a new guide designed to help investment stakeholders identify key drivers and engagement activities they can employ to curb GHG emissions from real estate (currently 30% of global totals) by integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) and climate change risks into standard business processes.
It was published on 08 Feb 2016 by six leading investor groups – UNEP Finance Initiative, PRI, RICS and investor groups from Europe (IIGCC), North America (INCR Ceres) and Australasia (IGCC).
