IIGCC letter to European Council on Energy Security

13.12.22

IIGCC CEO, Stephanie Pfeifer, has sent an open letter on energy security to 27 EU member states, and the European Commission and Council. The letter calls on them to create policy frameworks which enable investors to go further and faster in supporting an energy transition that is clean, secure and affordable.

Investors must be part of the solution to foster long-term energy security and affordability while reducing Europe’s emissions, and the right policy framework could help them to embrace the innumerable financial and economic opportunities of greening Europe’s energy system.
