Climate Action 100+ flagged resolutions: Engie SA (ENGI.PA): Annual General Meeting – Thursday 21 April 2022

14.04.22

Engie SA — MN to vote AGAINST two management proposals on accountancy grounds: Financial Statements and Reports and Consolidated Financial Statements.

  • Engie’s 2021 Financial statements contain no disclosure in line with their net zero commitment. Besides, Engie does not have targets that are in line 1.5 degrees.
  • MN will be voting as follows at the 2022 AGM, with the stated rationale: Financial Statements: Against: We cannot support approval of Engie’s financial statements, as per the 1st and 2nd resolutions, where there remain questions as to how it aligns with their net zero commitment, and where they fail to provide the requested visibility for a 1.5C pathway.
