| Robin Batchelor,
Director, joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 1996. He is
a Fund Manager on the Natural Resources Team with responsibility for
energy and new energy technology investments. Robin co-manages Merrill
Lynch New Energy Technology plc as well as the MLIIF New Energy and
World Energy funds. Robin was educated at Glasgow, Colorado State
and Stirling Universities. He holds a BSc in Applied Geology and an
MSc in Investment Analysis and is an associate member of the UK Society
of Investment Professionals. |

Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the
Rt Hon Margaret Beckett MP has overall responsibility for all
departmental issues on the environment, food (including agriculture,
horticulture and fisheries) and rural affairs. Mrs Beckett represents
the UK at the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council and at the EU Environment
Council. She leads for the UK in international negotiations on sustainable
development and climate change. |

was Global Head of Research at HSBC before he rejoined ABN AMRO in
August 2002. While at HSBC Mark set up the first dedicated SRI research
product on the sell-side. Between 1993 and 1999 he held various positions
at ABN AMRO/Hoare Govett: Head of Strategy & Economics, Head of
European Research and Chief Executive of Equities (UK). Prior to this,
Mark was a top-rated UK market strategist with UBS/Philips & Drew
for seven years and an economist at HM Treasury for three years. |

Browne of Madingley is Group
Chief Executive of BP p.l.c. Born in 1948 he joined BP as a university
apprentice in 1966. He holds a degree in Physics from Cambridge and
an MS in Business from Stanford. He is a non-executive director of
Intel and Goldman Sachs, and a trustee of the British Museum. He was
knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 1998 and made a life peer
in 2001. |

| Tom Burke
CBE is currently an Environmental
Policy Adviser to Rio Tinto plc and a Visiting Professor at Imperial
College. He is a member of the Council of English Nature, the statutory
advisor to the British Government on biodiversity. During 2002 he
served as an advisor to the Central Policy Group in the Deputy Prime
Minister's Office. He was Special Adviser to three Secretaries of
State for the Environment from 1991-97 after serving as Director of
the Green Alliance from 1982-91. He is the co-chairman of the Anglo-German
Environment Forum. He was recently appointed an Honorary Professor
in the Faculty of Laws at University College, London. |

| James Cameron
is Of Counsel to Baker & McKenzie and Founder and Chairman Advisory
Board, Climate Change Capital. He founded Baker & McKenzie's Climate
Change & Clean Energy Practice Group. He was a founding Director
of the Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development
(FIELD). He was also an adviser to the G8 Renewable Energy Task Force.
He has published and lectured widely and was until recently a Professor
of Law at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and is Visiting
Research Scholar at the Yale Centre for Environmental Law and Policy.
He is also an adviser and Chair to the Carbon Disclosure Project and
Vice President of the UK Business Council for Sustainable Energy. |

Sir Graeme John Davies is current
holds the Vice-Chancellorship of the University of London, having
previously been Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of
Glasgow. He has been Chief Executive of the Higher Education Funding
Council for England, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Liverpool,
and Professor of Metallurgy in the University of Sheffield. He is
Chairman of the Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd and the Scottish
Office's Scottish Education and Training initiative. He sits on the
Science and Engineering Committee and the Committee for International
Co-operation in Higher Education of the British Council, the Scottish
Science Trust and the U.K. Board of the Committee of Vice-Chancellor
and Principals. |

is Chief Executive of The Carbon Trust which was set up in 2001 as
part of the UK's Climate Change Programme. Tom is a chartered engineer
with extensive experience of the energy supply sector and has previously
worked with Shell, McKinsey and AT Kearney. As a media commentator,
Tom regularly appears in - and contributes to - the national and trade
press and has also appeared on BBC Radio's Today programme, BBC Radio
Five Live, BBC TV's Working Lunch programme, Sky News, and the BBC

Heck is Climate Adviser for Property
and Casualty Business Group at SwissRe. Pamela is responsible for
the development of risk and capital management tools, especially in
regards of atmospheric perils. Activities include the worldwide management
and steering of Swiss Re's cat business. Pamela is a member of the
ProClim Core Group, OcCC and the NCCR Climate Core Group. Pamela has
a PhD and Postdoctorate in climatology from ETH Zürich (1996-1999). |

Lespinard is the Chief Investment
Officer of BNP Paribas AM, responsible for the fundamental research,
quantitative research and portfolio management teams. In this role,
he is responsible for €120bn in assets, covering European equities
and fixed income as well as international equities and balanced portfolios.
Philippe joined BNP Paribas AM in April of 2002. Prior to that date,
he held the position of head of investments for Europe at Citigroup
Asset Management in London, while co-heading fixed income investments
worldwide. |

is Director of SRI and UK Equity Manager at Schroder Investment Management.
Sue has responsibility for UK institutional and private client portfolios
valued at over £1 billion and was appointed head of the SRI
team in 2001. Sue previously worked in the UK research department
as a sector Aanalyst for 3 years. Schroder Investment Management coordinate
IIGCC's engagement with companies and investors workstream. |

| Dr Paul
McNamara OBE is Director and
Head of Property Research for Prudential Property Investment Managers
Ltd and coordinator of IIGCC's property workstream. Paul joined PruPIM
Ltd in 1987 becoming Head of Property Research in 1990. As such, he
is responsible for the overall direction of property research in PruPIM.
This includes assessing the prospective returns to the constituent
elements of UK and overseas property markets in which PruPIM invests
and advising on investment strategy. Paul is also a Board Director
of PruPIM. |

| Robert
Napier was appointed Chief Executive
of WWF-UK in February 1999. Formerly he was Chief Executive of Redland
plc. He studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge, leading to an MA, and
also attended the Harvard Business School. For over 10 years Robert
Napier has been active in the charitable sector. From 1986-1988 he
was a Trustee of World in Need, which led to his becoming a founding
Trustee of ACET, the Aids Charity, in 1988. He was Chairman of the
Trustees of the construction industry charity CRASH. In 1997 he established
a charitable Trust to fund self-help projects in rural Zambia, many
of which have conservation objectives. |

| Dr. Martin
Parry OBE is at the Hadley Centre
for Climate Prediction and Research. He is a Co-Chair of Working of
Group II (Impacts and Adaptation) of the Intergovernmental Panel on
Climate Change (IPCC). Formerly he was Professor of Geography at the
University of Oxford and University College London, and Professor
of Environmental Science at the University of East Anglia. He has
published c.140 scientific papers and 5 books on climate change and
on land use. His specific research interests are in climate change
impacts and adaptation on agriculture, land use and landscape. He
has been a convening lead author in the three previous assessments
of the IPCC. |

| Nick Robins
is Head of Research for the Socially Responsible Investment (SRI)
team at Henderson Global Investors in London and coordinates IIGCC's
public policy workstream. At Henderson he manages a team of analysts
who carry out three interlocking tasks: first, assessing companies
according to sustainability and corporate responsibility criteria
for inclusion in Henderson's portfolio of SRI funds; second, investigating
the investment implications of strategic issues (such as business
ethics, workplace diversity, climate change and human rights); and
third, engaging with companies to better understand their performance
and encourage improvements on these issues. Nick joined Henderson
in December 2000 after seven years with the International Institute
for Environment and Development, where he worked as Director of the
Sustainable Markets Group. |

| Dr Ann
Robinson is a non-executive director
of Almeida Capital. She advises the management of Almeida Capital
and promotes its private equity news and research services to pension
funds. Ann is also a pension fund trustee and was recently appointed
by the Mayor of London to the board of the London Pensions Fund Authority.
Currently, she is also a board member of Harwich Haven Authority and
chairman of its pension fund, a trustee of the Dixons pension scheme
and a board member of the PPIAB. Ann was formerly the Director General
of the NAPF and a member of the Myners review team. Before that Ann
was head of the Policy Unit at the Institute of Directors.

| Dr Chris
Rowland is Head of Utilities
Research for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, leading a team of eight
professionals. He joined DrKW in summer 2000, from Merrill Lynch,
where he led the European Utilities Research for seven years. His
teams have been consistently top ranked in various surveys of institutional
investors. Chris has a Doctorate in Economics from the University
of Surrey for his work on the economics of UK oil taxation. Prior
to joining Merrill Lynch, he was with BZW, where he was top rated
both for his equity research into UK utilities and into UK oil and
gas companies. He has worked as a University lecturer and spent a
year starting up an alternative generator in the UK. |

| Peter
Scales is Chief Executive of
the London Pensions Fund Authority which administers a £3 billion
pension fund in the local government sector. He is a member of the
Steering Committee of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate
Change. He is currently chairman of the CIPFA Pensions Panel, and
a member of the NAPF Investment Council and the Advisory Committee
of the Pension Fund Investment Forum. |

| Dr Raj
Thamotheram is Senior Adviser
to Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS Ltd) on Responsible Investment
and current Chairman of the Institutional Investors Group of Climate
Change. USS Ltd is the third largest pension fund in the country,
with assets of £18 billion and more than 170,000 members. Dr
Thamotheram was previously a corporate social responsibility consultant.
His clients included telecom and mining multinationals, the UK Cabinet
Office and the Office of the Secretary General of the UN. Prior to
this, he was the founder Director of Saferworld, Head of Advocacy
at ActionAid and Manager of the Ethical Trading Initiative. He is
a member of the Advisory Council of the Export Credit Guarantee Department. |

| Dr Ariane
van Buren is the Senior Project
Manager for the Institutional Investor Program of CERES Sustainable
Governance Project. There she works with pension funds and endowments
concerned with corporate governance to assess the exposure of their
investment portfolios to different types of climate risk - financial,
fiduciary, liability, and other risks - associated with the anticipated
sectoral and regional costs of climate change. |
