Aims

The aim of the IIGCC public policy workstream is to ensure that policymakers take into account the long-term interests of institutional investors in their decision-making process and responses to climate chagne. The IIGCC provides a forum for investors to use their influence to encourage governments to adopt policies that provide incentives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and for investment in solutions to climate change. In addition, the group emphasises the importance of policies that encourage appropriate responses to the physical impacts of climate change.
